FALL FAMILY CAMP WEEKEND Rainbow Families organizes a very popular camp/retreat weekend in October. Whether at a YMCA camp or a retreat center, the camp weekend is a great deal of fun for those who participate. There are constant activities for the kids, sports, arts, climbing walls and zip lines, etc. A talent show allows the kids to share their talents with the whole group. Parents usually have at least one adult focused presentation, but there is plenty of opportunity to talk with friends and meet people who are unfamiliar. Everyone has a wonderful time at these weekend events. Please see our "Calendar of Events" to find out when the next Fall Camp Weekend will take place. | Family Conference & GatheringRainbow
Families' Family Conference is the largest gathering of the
lesbian, gay, bisexual, transgender, and queer (LGBTQ)-headed family
community in the region. Our Conference is a full day of educational and
social events. We feature activities and sessions that allow LGBTQ+
families (and people considering family planning) to not only learn more about the topics that matter to them,
but also to build on their own community of support. |
