Come enjoy the day at Smithsonian's National Zoo! Gay Day at the Zoo will take place on Sunday, May 7 from Noon-5 PM. It is the perfect opportunity to roam the Zoo in a safe, comfortable, and welcoming environment surrounded by members of our LGBTQ and ally community.
Rainbow Families will have a meet-up for families from Noon to 1:30 PM on the Lion-Tiger Hill (#12 on Map) located near the Great Cats Exhibit and across from the Mane Grill (#11 on Map). See map HERE.
Pack a lunch or grab something to eat from the Mane Grill, then join us on the Lion-Tiger Hill. Be sure to bring a blanket to sit on.
Afterwards, you are welcome to go explore the Zoo on your own or along with some of your new friends. Or head on over to ride the carousel or explore the Kids Farm.
